A BIG breakfast was held in Tintagel recently, raising money for the youth football team.

Friends, family and members of Tintagel Youth Football Club were up with the larks on Saturday, October 1, to prepare a big breakfast for the local community.

Members of the Tintagel Youth Football Team, parents, friends and supporters came along to the big breakfast event, tucking into their delicious breakfasts prepared and served by a very busy team.

Between 8am and 12.30pm the club served over 150 breakfasts in the cricket club at Tintagel Memorial Playing Fields.

The atmosphere was buzzing and very sociable as people enjoyed their full English over a cup of tea and a natter. All the food was donated and thanks were extended to those who contributed, including players’ parents and the cricket club for the use of the facilities.

Thanks were also extended to all who helped on the day and, of course, everyone who turned up for the breakfast.

The big breakfast made over £1,000 for their local youth football team.
