Better leisure centres throughout Cornwall are introducing £1 children’s swims before 10am this half term.

Run by GLL on behalf of Cornwall Council, the ten centres are in Launceston, Bude, Bodmin, St Austell, Helston, Liskeard, Newquay, Truro, St Ives and Saltash.

As a social enterprise provider, the GLL team in Cornwall wants to make swimming as affordable as possible during the cost-of-living crisis. Each centre will be running their £1 sessions before 10am on different days and the half term period will also be the last chance to sign up free for a Cornwall Card.

The card offers local residents discounts on a range of pay and play activities like swimming, soft play and trampolining but, from November, there will be a charge to get one.
