CAMELFORD Primary School held a 'rainbow memorial day' for the late John Phillips, chair of governors, on

Monday, July 15.

The school has dedicated a tree and a 'buddy bench' in his memory.

A school spokesperson said: "The idea of the bench is both for us to remember John and everything he did for the school and also, very fittingly, to provide somewhere for children to go when they feel in need of a friend."
