A DELABOLE mole catcher has been injured in a road traffic collision that hit him "like a bomb" while travelling back home from work.

Neil Shute was driving his quad bike back to Delabole on Saturday (February 16) when he was hit from behind by a grey Jaguar, the male driver is also from Delabole and was returning to the village.

"He hit me so hard I was thrown into the air, and the car went beneath me. It was like one of those stunts you see on TV. I didn't know he was behind me, and he hit so hard it was like a bomb," said Mr Shute.
