An auction was held at the Globe Inn, Bude on Friday, May 15 to raise money for an outside shaded area at Bude Junior School. Several items were auctioned which had been kindly donated by Cornish businesses, including a quilt, surfboard and a signed book by Rick Stein. Auctioneer James Kendling kept everything in order on the night, with teachers, parents and supporters, including school head Mike Narraway giving their support to help raise over £1,200 for the school.
