THIRTY-SEVEN members of the Holsworthy Detachment of Devon Army Cadet Force celebrated the end of another successful year at a Christmas dinner and presentations evening.

Guests included mayor of Holsworthy Cllr John Allen and his wife, John Francis of Holsworthy Royal British Legion and Captain Phillip Clarke training officer for Company HQ.

Serjeant David Fairbrother received his senior four-star training badge, silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Cadet BTec vocational qualification and the town council 'Best NCO' shield for the third year running as voted for by the cadets.
