MILES Machen of Loco-Bowmen attended the St Austell Bay open tournament for a Double Stafford round.

A single round is 72 arrows at 30m on a 80cm face.

Having only bought his bow the day before, Miles managed to attain new County records for the single and double round with 524 and 1012, well done Miles.

Zena Barker also attained two County records and one regional record with 665 and 1301.

At the following shoot held in Bideford, hosted by Kenwith Archers, Portsmouth and Fita 18 (5 dozen arrows at 20yds and then 18m).

Miles came 1st in both rounds for the under-16s, and Zena Barker also came first in both rounds.
