AN APPEAL has been launched to save the Launceston home of the poet Charles Causley so that other writers can use it as an inspirational setting.
Causley, acknowledged as one of the finest 20th century poets, died in his home town in 2003.
He was awarded the Queen's 'Gold Medal for Poetry' in 1967, a CBE in 1986, and was made a 'Companion of Literature' in 2000.
