POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an alleged burglary at a home which saw a laptop and cash stolen.

A property on Station Road in Okehampton was reportedly broken into during the early hours of Monday, June 3.

Officers investigating the incident have launched an appeal for information, asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, saw or heard any suspicious activity or has relevant CCTV and vehicle dash cam footage to come forward.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a home in Okehampton.

“Offenders broke into the property in Station Road through a lounge window between 7.30am and 9.30am on Monday, June 3.

“They escaped with a laptop and an amount of cash.

“Officers are investigating the incident and asking for anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in Station Road around the time of the offence to contact them.

“They would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on CCTV or vehicle dashcam.”
