A CHARITY is urging people who are unable to provide a home for their cats, to get in touch or visit their local vet after two kittens were left in a cardboard box outside a home in Holsworthy.
This is the second incident whereby unwanted cats have been abandoned outside homes in Church Lane, according to the charity Holsworthy and Bideford Cats Protection.
Creina Mandry, the charity's welfare officer, said eight cats/kittens were abandoned in the Holsworthy area last year.
Two kittens were left in a suitcase along Church Lane, just before Christmas. They have since 'gone to fantastic homes'.
Most recently, two cats were left in a cardboard box outside Stephanie Woolf's house along Chapel Street.
