A CHALLENGE to raise £1,000 by Easter has been completed by a man in memory of his late wife.

Anthony Mayall from Hollacombe, decided to raise £1,000 by Easter in memory of his wife Susan Marie, after she died of heart disease last November.

Anthony successfully completed the personal challenge well in advance of his deadline and recently donated the money to the Bude branch of the British Heart Foundation.

Despite completing the challenge, Anthony is planning to continue to raise money for charity.
