AN annual Light Party organised by Bude Methodist Church as a positive alternative to Hallowe’en took place at Harlequinns, Bude on Saturday.

There were more than 70 children in the playzone enjoying not only the play area but also games, crafts and tea, and 21 older young people enjoyed a game of bowling followed by chips.

The themes of the tea-time chats in both groups were ‘Jesus’ light in the darkness’ to demonstrate the impact of God’s love in our lives.
