DESCRIBED as their hardest challenge to date, Holsworthy lad Steve Vanstone and friends Mike Lyddon, Stu Corbett, Tim Payne, Ben Moore and Paul Gordon nonetheless completed their annual fundraiser in memory of Theresa Vanstone with great gusto.

The three day 240 mile cycle ride from London to Tavistock saw only one casualty — Steve coming off in a hedge of stinging nettles — as opposed to last year's incident fuelled trip!

Thursday, July 28 saw the boys ride from London to Salisbury, and what should have been a 90 mile ride total 101, as Mike's sense of direction proved an obstacle for the group, and 13 hours since departing the boys finally reached their destination.
