ON December 10 and 11 Exeter University was the venue for the Badminton England South West Bronze Under-15 and Under-17 tournaments. Alistair Prades from Shebbear won gold, silver and bronze medals over the weekend. In the U-15 Singles Alistair took the gold beating both the Cornwall No 1 and the Somerset No 1 U-15 players on the way. In the U-15 Doubles Alistair and partner Mac Powell from Halwill lost a close, hard fought semi-final to take the bronze medals.
