THE final planning hurdle is on the horizon for Holsworthy's Agri-business Centre, as Torridge District Council is expected to decide the development process.

The council will discuss the development of a new livestock market and business centre, at a Special Community and Resources committee meeting next

Monday (March 4). The agri-business centre application was approved last summer.

Tesco Foodstore formally submitted its planning application for Underlane at the beginning of the month, meanwhile Cavanna Homes' proposal for 91 two, three and four bed homes on the former livestock market is due to go in front of the council's plans committee.

The council's tender process for a contractor to carry out the £4,500,000 — £6,000,000 agri-business centre build has been completed.
