FROM colour changing water to a rendition of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody this year's 22nd 'Post' charity gala left nothing, maybe a little, to the imagination!
In February the 'Post' was saddened to report the tragic accident which befell the Fisherman's Friends and left the community in mourning.
The charity gala was cancelled as a mark of respect to the family and friends of the sea shanty group, as they had planned to perform at the annual event, held in aid of Children's Hospice South-West (CHSW).
It was rescheduled for last Friday (March 22) and we were thrilled to welcome the Mevagissey Male Voice Choir to Penstowe, Kilkhampton, who kindly agreed to perform at short notice.
Of course, not forgetting magic man Mr Eerius and Radio Cornwall's one and only Tracy Wilson, who were both able to attend the new date.
For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, please see this week's edition of the 'Post'.
