MOTORISTS are being asked to drive with care over potholes as the elements postpone repair work.

Liberal Democrat Cornwall Councillor for Tintagel Glenton Brown said potholes and how Cornwall's secondary roads will be maintained are a matter of great concern.

He said: "The potholes at Bowithick Hill Road between Tintagel and Delabole are among the countless scenes throughout the county, and indeed the country at this moment, following the extremely wet weather.

"Motorists have been enjoying the short cut from Sanding Road to Delabole via Bowithick Hill for its improved surface and the overhanging hedges being cut back. However, it is back to square one."
