EVERY year Blisland village school put on a Christmas luncheon, with all the trimmings, for the schoolchildren, village residents and visitors from surrounding areas.

The event takes place in the village hall prior to the school's first performance of their Christmas play.

The hall is a busy and noisy place with hungry eaters of all ages tucking into the huge helpings created by volunteers.
