TREBURLEY Social Club presented a cheque for £535 to the Launceston Hospital League of Friends from the race night held at the club.

The race evening was a great success, with more than 60 people attending, and enjoying a great evening of racing and home-made pasties, cheese and cupcakes at half-time.

The money raised for the club will go to help pay for the new carpet in the lounge area.

Thanks were expressed to all who helped to make the night such a success, all who came along on the night, to all the companies that sponsored the races and to the people who bought horses in each race, and the people who bought a horse in the last race.
