Launceston and District Cats Protection held its grand Christmas Fayre at Lifton on Saturday.

The hall was packed with stalls, selling a variety of items as well as a large assortment of cakes.

Hot pasties and sausage rolls were served along with tea and coffee.

The event raised just over £1,008 — their best Christmas Fayre yet.

The branch said it is delighted at the result and expressed thanks to all who braved terrible weather to support them, and to the many helpers.
