PICTURES of Bude's very own war horses have been unearthed by 'Post' readers.

In conjunction with the War Horse film release, Adrian Abbott of Bude has kindly provided two of his 3,500 postcards. They are dated August 5, 1914 and show horses being gathered for the war at the top of Lansdown Road.
