ORGANISERS of FLIC— Films Launceston In the Community — are looking forward to their first film festival in the town.
'Mr Turner' and the singalong 'Mamma Mia!' are two of the films that will form part of the festival, which takes place on the weekend of March 6.
The launch evening for the festival took place at the usual FLIC film showing last Friday. The festival will see a showing of 'Pride' on the night of Friday, March 6, 'Frozen' on the Saturday morning, the singalong version of 'Mamma Mia!' in the afternoon and 'Before I Go To Sleep' as the evening film.
Sunday afternoon will see a showing of 'Mr Turner' with cream teas during the interval.
The evening showings start at 7.30pm, the afternoon showings at 3pm and the Saturday morning showing at 10.30am.
Before the first FLIC Festival film on the Friday there will be food available at the town hall. Meals should be pre-booked by calling 01566 777369.
