Police have warned drivers to belt up when they get in their vehicle after a crash involving two vans near Bodmin.

Officers put out photos of one of the two vans that collided at St Issey to show the damage done to the vehicle.

They say the driver had not been wearing a seat belt and had hit the windscreen during the crash. Luckily they were not injured.

A spokesperson from Bodmin Police said: “Please take note of the windscreen on this van. This is a result of someone not wearing their seat belt! Your safety is important, to us, your friends and family.”
