THE Upper Tamar Lake Sailing Club got its season underway at the weekend in moderate wind and bright sunshine.
Bob Sampson took the line honours in the AM Commodore's Cup, with seven boats taking to the water to compete.
The morning's wind had dropped for the PM Barnwell Cup, but warm sunshine still made for enjoyable racing.
Paul Whybrow's excellent start meant he earnt first prize — despite Bob again crossing the line first — with the new season's handicap in effect.
