YOUNG people from all over the district were celebrated at a special awards evening held in Westward Ho! recently.

A youth recognition initiative that was founded in Bude, Community Action Through Sport (CATS) quite simply recognises and rewards young people aged up to 19 for their positive community actions by providing sports and healthy living awards.

The first Torridge CATS presentation event recognised 120 young people who have volunteered their time within our communities by presenting them with awards donated by local leisure related businesses and organisations.
