On a beautifully sunny, but blustery Sunday morning, Ross RFC U10s played two matches away to Drybrook.

The first game started slowly, with Ross looking a little disjointed in attack, and struggling to get to grips with the windy conditions. Eventually they managed to get on the front foot, with Alex Jackson making some great driving runs; this finally gave Ross some forward momentum, allowing Brynley Price to power his way through the Drybrook defence for Ross's first try.

Shortly afterwards Max Flitton went on a dazzling solo run, sidestepping his way past several Drybrook players to score his first try for Ross. However, Drybrook were intent on having their say, and as the half time whistle blew the teams were locked on two tries each. Full report in this week's Gazette.
