SKIPPER Lloyd Duke will make his 250th Launceston appearance today when they host champions Camborne in Regional One South West (2.30pm).

The All Blacks host the West Cornwall side knowing that two wins against the Cherries and Drybrook on March 25 could see them finish fifth - or even fourth – if Lydney can win at Drybrook Services in Services’ final game of the season and other results go in their favour.

Launceston joint head coaches Ian Goldsmith and Ryan Westren are able to recall three players from the side that missed last weekend’s excellent victory at Lydney.

Duke, Mitch Hawken and fly-half Glenn Coles are all back after missing last weekend for various reasons.

Hawken comes in at prop in place of the unavailable Andy Knight, while Duke slots back in at number eight in place of Charlie Tummon who is back at university.

Coles is back in at his customary ten slot which means yet another centre partner for Brandon Rowley as James Slater switches to 13 from ten last week.

Lock Jake Crabb, man of the match at Okehampton a fortnight ago, is fit enough for the bench where joins Jack Swain and Ollie Tomkies.

LAUNCESTON v Camborne: James Tucker, Archie Dinnis, James Slater, Brandon Rowley, Dan Pearce, Glenn Coles, Tom Sandercock; Ethan Pearce-Cowley, Levent Bulut, Mitch Hawken, Leion Coles, Alex Bartlett, Tom Bottoms, George Bone, Lloyd Duke (capt). Replacements: Jake Crabb, Jack Swain, Ollie Tomkies.

Counties One Western West

IF two go down as expected, Bude are already safe, but the Seasiders would love to round off their first season back at Step Seven with an away victory in their final two outings.

They head to in-form Kingsbridge this afternoon (2.30pm) missing five players from the side that beat Falmouth 43-12 last weekend due to injuries and unavailability, but should cause problems for the hosts.

From last week’s side, forwards Jason Bolt, Chris Hill and Ben Hancock are all out as are wingers Jack Horwell and Patrick Marks.

In come prop Martin George, hooker Rory Mead, Charlie Watton at centre, Harry Dymond at full-back and Luke Wilson on the wing.

BUDE at Kingsbridge: Harry Dymond, Luke Wilson, Ed Hilliam-Cooke, Charlie Watton, Olly Denford, Will Pharo, Olly Mounce; Martin George, Rory Mead, Chris Allin, Matt Williams, Will Kingdon, Ben Tharme, Finley Fry, Freddie Saxton (capt). Replacements: Aaron Tharme, Jacob Rundle.

Counties Three Cornwall

LAUNCESTON Castles and Bude Seconds round off their league campaigns looking to finish the season on a high.

Launceston could finish fourth if they can win at Camborne (2.30pm), but with just a bare 15 may struggle against a side that need just a point to guarantee third and could be runners-up if Bude can do them a favour against St Just (2.30pm).

Bude conceded last Saturday’s trip against St Agnes, and with the first team struggling for numbers, will need to put in a season’s best performance to get anything out of St Just.

LAUNCESTON at Camborne: Mike Reddan, Aaron Curtin, Mark Knight, Martin Kneebone (capt), Greg Gillbard, Tom Sandercock, Corey Sillifant; Walter Tucker, Nathan Ferrett, Josh Elias, Bill Perry, Ben Greene, James Norris, Josh Rowland, Ollie Martin (capt).

Women’s NC 2 South West (West)

LAUNCESTON’S hopes of promotion rely on tomorrow’s trip to unbeaten leaders Exeter Athletic Dakota (3pm).

With both sides having comfortably won the rest of their fixtures, just two points separate the two with both having just one more game to play.

Both sides have conceded just 55 points between them – 34 and 21 respectively, and have racked up plenty of points.

Launceston have a full 22-player squad to choose from, giving the coaches plenty of selection dilemmas.

The match is now to be played at the University of Exeter Sports Park (EX4 4QL).

LAUNCESTON at Exeter Athletic Dakota: Holly Williams, Mia Wray, Charlotte Crocker, Pyper Karkeek, Abby Matthews, Joey Sandercock, Amy Warman; Mel Ruby (capt), Jenna Arnold, Kim Upcott, Megan Arnold, Gemma Old, Caitlin Hancock, Rhiannon Thomas, Vicki Doidge. Replacements: Avril Crabb, Briony Eddy, Lynn Pridham, Ann-Marie Risdon, Megan Tucker, Frankie Gilbert, Lauren Carlyon.
