SIXTEEN-year-old Olivia Orchard of Launceston Amateur Boxing Club (ABC) made the 200-mile trip to Cannock to take on Kingston ABC's Samantha Brown in the National Female Amateur Boxing Association of England Championship Finals last month.

From the opening bell, it was clear to see the tactics from the Kingston boxer were to try and push Olivia onto the back foot and gain control over the centre of the ring.

However, Olivia was prepared and met Samantha head on, unleashing a barrage of straight rights and left hooks to the head and body with little return.

The Launceston boxer kept up the pressure, connecting with fierce looking hooks to the head, but Samantha was tough and kept coming to the bell.
