UPPER Tamar Lake Sailing Club races on Sunday May 27.
In light, fickle winds seven boats started the race but unfortunately Commodore Simon Veal was over the start line at 12 noon and had to return. However, Jane Chadney in her full sailed Laser, John Buckett (Otter) and Stuart Mealing (Laser) all had excellent starts.
In the light wind the boats soon spread out with Jane establishing a commanding lead, followed by Sue Murray in her Topper Trez (the gib flying which was a real advantage) then Stuart was in third position just ahead of Simon Veal (Bosun) and John Buckett.
