Two Launceston College students have recently qualified as Level 1 coaches in their respective sports.
Josh Thomas (Year 12) and Josh Lane (Year 11) have both worked as coaches with Year 8 in football and rugby.
Their qualifications were financed by Launceston College, with support from Launceston Rotary Club.
Launceston College's Performance Academy finances governing body coaching courses for students who display an excellent skill for leadership and who commit to coaching a younger year group.
Josh Lane is also the Rescorla House sports captain and this year has volunteered more than 50 hours to help the younger age groups.
