FOLLOWING their well deserved draw at Plymouth Parkway in midweek, Camelford continued their good form on a good surface despite heavy pre-match rain.
In a competitive first half the Camels took the lead just before half time with a brilliant scissors kick by skipper Mark Gusterson from Liam Dingle's floated free kick.
Camelford made light of having two key mid-fielders missing and it came as no surprise when they increased their lead in the 65th minute when Gusterson clinically finished a headed pass by Josh Insley from an Adam Sleep free kick.
Ten minutes later Gusterson and the impressive Ryan Pooley were clean through on the 'keeper but somehow failed to find the net.
Tavistock took advantage of this life-line and the excellent Dave Hallett scored with an unstoppable drive with 15 minutes remaining.
