BUDE Squash Club sent Truro packing following an 11-4 home rout on a miserable wet and windy evening last week.

First up was Nick Gleed, playing at number four, against veteran Martin Braithwaite.

It was a tight game, but there only looked liked one winner and sure enough Martin came through to win 3-2.

Next up was Sam, who played a solid game to win 3-0 against Pete Tatlow.

Steve, at number two, played next in a long hard battle, taking the first two games before his opponent Gary Walton came back, winning the third.

There then followed a really close fourth game, with Steve eventually taking the honours.

Rob Irish completed the evening's entertainment with a convincing 3-0 win over Robin Gordon — his first win of the season.
