THE school swimming calendar has ended in exciting fashion in Launceston, with the Junior School Inter-Primary Schools Gala, held at the Phoenix Leisure Centre.

St Joseph's School started the event strongly and were four points clear following the first ten races of Tregadillett Primary School.

This lead had increased having passed the halfway point, leaving the St Joseph's pupils knowing a strong performance in the relay section would guarantee them victory.
