SOUTHGATE Colts Football Club recently held their annual presentation evening in the White Hart Hotel, Launceston, with all players, parents, coaches and managers present.

As well as all of the individual age group presentations there was also two memorial awards presented.

The Justin Chettle Memorial trophy was won this year by U15s player Thomas Halls for his dedication and commitment to the club. The trophy was presented to Thomas by Justin's father Ashley Chettle who along with wife Carol present the trophy in memory of their son every year.

The Linda Cox Memorial trophy was awarded to Geoff and Suzanne Burns for their support and contribution to the club with Geoff managing a side for many years as well as holding the role of treasurer and Suzanne's continued work and support with vital fundraising for the club.

The trophy is awarded each year in memory of Linda Cox who supported the club throughout her three sons playing time for Southgate with her youngest son Nathan presenting the trophy in memory of his mum.
