UPPER Tamar Lake Sailing Club recently held their annual Christmas dinner and cup presentation at The Weir, Bude.

Throughout the sailing season — March to November — the club hold races on Sunday, and in the summer, on Wednesday afternoons, to win an assortment of cups and trophies. These are presented after the Christmas dinner to the winners, runners up and third places, giving everyone a chance to go home with an award.

Sue Murray, Commodore, extended her thanks to Linda Spiller for all her hard work in organising such a well attended club Christmas dinner, to John Weller for supplying a great selection of music to dance to and for everybody at the Weir for their hard work in giving the club such an excellent evening and thoroughly enjoyable meal.
