AFTER?a thrilling victory over Devonport Services in their first game back in Western Counties rugby, Bude made it back-to-back defeats with this 28-10 reversal at home to Torquay Athletic.

With plenty of pace and power, Torquay proved difficult opponents.

Player-coach James Wood scored all 16 points in the first-half for Torquay including his own try.

And although Bude, stayed in the game through Dan Pearce’s penalty and Charlie Watton’s try, the visitors powered away after the break.

Tries from Richard Reed and Matt Limmer made the game safe, to make the mammoth trip back to Torquay a very happy one.
