LAUNCESTON?Rugby Club’s Minis and Juniors section sponsored the first team’s South West One (West) clash?with Bideford last Saturday.
They held a number of events throughout the day including a buffet, a cake stall, a sweet stall, a raffle for a ball signed by the Exeter Chiefs first team squad and a minis and juniors kit sale.
Once the game had finished, the first team players joined a number of the 100 juniors at Polson Bridge for a photo (above) on the main pitch as well as voting inside-centre Jon Dawe as the man-of-the-match.
The minis and juniors vice-chairman, Peter Sandercock, believes it was a successful afternoon.
He said: “It was a cracking day down at the club on Saturday and it was great to see so many people down there. We put on a buffet, a number of stalls and even raffled off an Exeter Chiefs signed ball, which was won by our under 15s coach. It went really well and we’re looking forward to doing it again next year.”
