The All Blacks have two wins and defeats from their four outings so far, narrowly being beaten 29-27 at Sidmouth last Saturday, that following a controversial final 15 minutes which saw them have a try chalked off and a penalty try decision not go their way.
The hosts then went up the other end and won it via a late charge down.
That said, two points away from home is something never to be sniffed at, and the Cornishmen will fancy themselves against Royal Wootton Bassett.
The visitors arrive without a win, although they have remarkably drawn clashes with Lydney and Exmouth, and sit level with third bottom St Austell and one ahead of Marlborough.
But Launceston head coach Ryan Westren has been forced to shuffle the pack.
Lock George Bone is injured, as is skipper and fly-half Tom Sandercock, while influential flanker Charlie Tummon is away.
Cam Fogden remains out after being forced off in their opener against Topsham.
Bone’s place goes to Alex Bartlett, while young flanker Finn Styles makes his debut at flanker and George Harris comes in on the openside.
Ben Hancock – one of the players of the season so far – switches to No.8 as Brandon Rowley takes up the 12 shirt at inside-centre.
Sandercock’s absence means a shift around in the backline with the majority swapping positions.
James Tucker will start at 10 next to Charlie Atwood, while Billy Martin switches wings and Morgan Woods takes the start on the other side as Rowley goes to 12.
Ben Bryant again lines up at 13, while last Saturday’s hat-trick hero Ollie Bebbington reverts to full-back with Tucker moving up the field.
On the bench there are two welcome returnees. Powerhouse prop Charlie Short’s work has calmed down, while lock Jake Crabb could make a rare appearance having made a return to the game.
The Castles have had a tough start to life in Counties Two Cornwall following promotion and welcome title favourites Camborne Seconds (1.30pm).
The Castles were narrowly edged out by Liskeard-Looe and second-placed Falmouth, but were then thrashed 58-15 at last year’s runners-up Helston.
To make matters worse, several injuries were picked up, and with the first team missing three of last weekend’s squad, it is a squad that has an extremely young look to it.
Two Colts – Ollie Mason and Tom Hargreaves – are on the bench.
