LAUNCESTON Rugby Club is hoping for a bumper crowd at Polson Bridge on Saturday for the popular local derby against Redruth.

The game, which kicks off at 3pm, looks to be the last game between the two teams for at least another season, as the Cornish All Blacks face relegation from National Two South at the end of the season.

Once the season is complete, with the Launceston team travelling to Old Albanian on Saturday, April 30, players, supporters and committee members will be able to let their hair down at the annual presentation evening and dinner.

The three-course set meal with disco will be held at The White Hart Hotel, Launceston on Saturday, May 7.

Plans are already in place for a number of pre season friendlies for the squad, before next season begins, and they begin the fight to claw their way back up into National Two.
