BUDE RFC Minis and Juniors spent the day at Exeter Chiefs’ Sandy Park home on Sunday, January 14 ahead of the European Champions Cup clash with Ulster.

The day started with a training session delivered by the Exeter Chiefs coaches and some of their players.

This was followed by a tour around the clubs facilities including the changing room, weights gym and ice bath!

Before kick-off the players then lined up on the pitch for a guard of honour as the Exeter Chiefs and Ulster players ran onto the pitch.

Watching the game from the South Stand, Bude then walked a lap of the pitch with the club coaches donning their new tops kindly sponsored by Life’s A Beach restaurant.

The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and lapped up the applause from the 10,000 strong crowd who were in fine voice after a five-star showing saw the Cheifs win 31-19.

After the final whistle, the Bude players lined up along side the pitch as Exeter Chiefs stars signed autographs and gave photo opportunities with the club’s young stars of the future.

Bude RFC would like to express their thanks to all the players who were a credit to their club and give a special thanks to Charlie Bisby and Ed Nancekivell for organising the day.
