RYAN Pollard, right, has won his first two trophies for snooker, at his first time of entering any competitions. In the Christmas competitions at Stratton, Ryan entered the doubles with Vic Bickle, left, and in the final, best of five frames, they beat Kevin Benson and Nick Cornish 3-0. Ryan then had to play Kevin in the singles final, playing well he won 3-0. The trophies were presented by Dave Ewan. Snooker plays a very important part in Ryan's life and with his undoubted ability he is a rising star.
