THIRTEEN runners representing the Bude RATS travelled to Seaton in East Devon to take part in the annual 20-mile race, known as the 'Grizzly', organised by Axe Valley runners recently.
The route takes on the more extreme side of running and challenges the runners to their maximum, with a variety of surfaces to cover, ranging from a shingle beach to a knee deep bog through a forest!
The weather on the day did its best to make things harder with temperatures around zero, combined with wind, rain and even sleet, making it one of the toughest races held there in years.
