BUDE Town's run of defeats has been extended after Wadebridge ended their own spell of poor form with a 3-0 away win.
Connor Mewton chased down a long ball and took advantage of a collision between Bude's goalkeeper and two defenders to put the visitors ahead in added time at the end of the first-half.
Wadebridge had to wait until the hour mark to double their advantage.
Danny O'Hagan played in Nick Dowling, who found himself one on one with the goalkeeper. He remained calm and composed, slotting the ball low into the corner of the hosts' net.
The goal which ended the game as a contest came only four minutes later, and will not be remembered fondly by Bude's Dan Starkey. In attempting to cut out Nick Hurst's cross, the defender succeeded only in diverting the ball into his own net with a spectacular flying header.
