THE Boscastle and District Darts League held their presentation evening last month at Coombe Barton Inn, Crackington Haven.
After close points throughout the season, Poldark B won the league ahead of their A team by 10 points, while the wooden spoon was presented to Napoleon A.
This followed with the fight to win the Roy Rush competition, which after a very close game on the night, Wootons beat Wilsey Down 6-4.
The Supplementary Shield went to Poldark B and runners-up were Con Club A.
Trebles winners for this year went to the Poldark A trio of Steve Carthew, Ryan Pooley and Dan Jones with the runners-up being Wilsey Down (Mark Sobey, Carol Digby and Jamie Holden).
Pairs winners were the Wootons duo of Aaron Washer and George Jones while the runners-up were Nigel Connolly and Cliff Willis from Poldark B.

The charity winner this year was George Jones (Wootons) and the runner-up Dave Jones (Poldark A).
A cheque for £700 was raised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and presented on the night. All monies are raised for the league’s charity through tins in which you have to pay 20p for 20 scored and under, our charity evening and entries for the Singles, Doubles and Trebles competitions.
Thanks were expressed to all the teams who donated to the worthy cause.
