THE?returning Ride for Max gymkhana event held for the first time in a couple of years at Altarnun has been described as an 'outstanding success'. A total of £818 was raised thanks to the new team of organisers and all competitors, which will be shared equally between Cornwall Air Ambulance and Cancer Research UK. Joanne Smith and Missy won the overall champion trophy, and an event spokesperson said:?"The ladies would like to thank all the lovely people that took time to help, all the sponsors, Warren's for the barbecue meat to keep us all going in the day and a special thank you to Claire and Steve."
