CAMELFORD driver Alex Quinn has closed the gap on the championship leader to just one point in the penultimate round of the Super 1 British Karting Championship. In a nail biting final, Alex, 13, battled to stay ahead of his rival and took the flag with just 11/100ths of a second to spare. In fact, the top seven drivers crossed the finish line all within one second of each other, making it one of the closest finishes the championship has seen this year so far.
