THE 2014 gig rowing season has brought unprecedented levels of success for Boscastle and Crackington Gig Club.
A strong start was made in the World Championships on the Isles of Scilly in May with more than double the number of club members on the previous year and the ladies making a huge 40 place climb up the rankings from 2013. This was followed up by the first ever regatta for the club's junior crew, which have not finished outside of the top three in any of their races in their age group all season. A high point of the season was Port Isaac Regatta, in which the Men's A, Men's B and Junior crews were all victorious.
