A BUSY last couple of weeks has seen Bude RATS members compete in various races, as the coastal club continues to grow.

Sabine McLean-Thorne, representing the RATS, travelled up to the capital for the Virgin London Marathon and had an eventful day, battling on after sustaining an injury during the race and managing to complete the full 26 miles in four hours and 42 minutes.

Bude RATS has also busy on the local front, with five runners taking part in the Arlington Court Canter — voted one of the toughest, but most scenic 10k races in the UK.
