LOCAL athletes had a great time participating in the Roseland August Trail Races on the peninsula on the weekend.

There were four different distances, 11 miles, 20 miles, 32 miles or a mighty 64 miles along the Southwest Coastal Path between Porthpean and St Antony Head, providing abundant challenges for the North Cornwall contingent of OffRoadents and friends.

Add the opportunity to camp at the Porthpean HQ, with superb catering and music from local band 'Feedback', it all add up to a great Mud Crew event, and even a poor weather forecast couldn't put the runners off.
