FORMER British Gold Cup darts champion Nikki Furse looks set for another season of success at the oche as she remains unbeaten in the British Inter County Championship with five wins out of five so far.

Nikki first took an interest in the sport when she watched her parents play in the local leagues and stepped up herself aged 14 to win the Bude and District mixed doubles competition with her Dad, Brian.

Following in her father's footsteps, Nikki went on to represent Cornwall and is still currently doing so.

Her darts career officially took off in 1997 when she started playing in the Boscastle and District League for Coombe Barton. At the same time Nikki also began playing in the Cornwall Super League where she has won the Ladies singles championship on several occasions.
